Arequipa, FEBRUARY 28 2022 International Suppliers from Germany and Australia will be present at PERUMIN 35

During the recent edition of Mining Thursday, the Organizing Committee and the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers presented an overview of PERUMIN 35th Mining Convention and the activities that will form part of it.

One of the main attractions of this great meeting of miners will be precisely EXTEMIN, the exhibition fair of goods and services, which will have the participation of the most important suppliers and contractors of the mining industry.

In this regard, Engineer Enrique Alania, President of EXTEMIN, explained that this space will cover an extension of 11 hectares, 6 exhibition halls and 1,400 stands.

“It will be an open and ample space for adequate distancing between visitors, thus, complying with the biosafety protocols in this special situation”, commented the executive.

He also confirmed the presence of the international delegations from Germany and Australia as participants in the exhibition fair, who will exhibit the best of their portfolio of technological solutions to meet the most demanding requirements of the mining sector.

To motivate the private sector into participating in PERUMIN 35, the management of the IIMP and the presidency of EXTEMIN held 13 commercial meetings from January to February this year with more than 140 companies.

These meetings were an opportunity to inform about the guidelines and protocols implemented in the fair”, he explained.

The Mining Convention PERUMIN will take place once again from the 26th to the 30th of September 2022 on-site. It is one of the most important events of the mining sector, which has positioned Peru as the meeting point of the world mining industry.

This event, organized by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) will be held in the White City of Arequipa.

“As it will be a live event, we will spare no efforts to offer absolutely all the guaranties concerning biosafety. We will comply with the current provisions in force for large events: vaccines, negative Covid tests, capacity, ventilation, disinfection and distancing”, pointed out the renowned economist Claudia Cooper, President of the 35th edition of PERUMIN.
