, FEBRUARY 15 2021 PERUMIN Mining Convention will be held in September 2022

The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) announced that, due to the health situation, the next edition of PERUMIN Mining Convention will be held from September 20th to 24th, 2022.

“Given this context, and thinking about the safety and well-being of everyone, the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) has decided to postpone PERUMIN 35 Mining Convention until September 2022, to be held in the city of Arequipa”, explained the IIMP.

The IIMP said that it was a difficult decision, as PERUMIN has become a tradition for the mining industry and for Arequipa, whose citizens envision each edition as an opportunity to showcase their hospitality, rich culture, architectural beauty, gastronomy, among other attractions.

“However, it is necessary to be cautious of the risks of contagion in public spaces”, it noted.
