The Government supports the development of PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention in Arequipa.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs makes official the mega event that will gather students, professionals and mining investors from different parts of the world.

By an Official Order of the General Secretariat, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs made official the development of PERUMIN 33 Mining Convention, organized by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP) that will be carried out from September 18 through 22, September at the campus of the Public University of San Agustín (UNSA) of Arequipa.

The document signed by the Ambassador and the Secretary General of such Ministry, Eric Anderson Machado, highlights that event as a high-level International Meeting that fosters the exchange of experiences among participants and represents an outstanding opportunity to spread the mining potential of our country and its competitive advantages.

Likewise, he stated that this International Meeting gives way to an analysis of the impact that this activity has on the Peruvian economy, formulating multi-sectorial alternatives to create a shared vision where it is acknowledged that the mining growth also fosters the wellbeing of communities.

Each PERUMIN edition gathers thousands of professionals, businessmen and mining students, as well as governmental delegations and more than a hundred of international lectures from more than 50 countries in the World.

This edition will have 7 academic-commercial meetings and more than 1650 stands at the Mining Technological Fair (EXTEMIN), comprised by 15 International Delegations and around 1000 suppliers of the industry.
