Since its first edition in 1954, the purpose of the Operators’ Meeting, held within PERUMIN - Mining Convention framework, has been to provide professionals, businessmen and investors around the world with the opportunity of getting together and share experiences, as well as to express an opinion about recent mining events and consider solutions or proposals to improve the different productive activities of the mining sector. That is, to grant the opportunity of showing new ideas and sharing studies and investigation works with Peruvians and Foreigners, with the purpose of spreading new knowledge and experiences in mining.

For this edition, we have contemplated to extend the call considering again Mining investigation and Infrastructure issue involving power, water and transportation areas, which are so useful to mining.

One more time, we will award the Prize to the Best Work in Mining Investigation, acknowledging the effort made in research activities related to the sector by universities and institutions with the support of mining companies; and as a tradition, we will award prizes to the best works per specialty and the most eagerly awaited National Mining Prize.

Furthermore, we will rely on top-level magisterial lecturers with great national and international career experience.

We invite you to participate in the Operators’ Meeting, in order to share during the days of PERUMIN – 30th Mining Convention all our ideas and, thus defying all the present and future challenges with the best attitude that our country deserves.
